Brothers and sisters have a duty to create a culture of love in the home. What do they owe to one another? What should they do for one another. What kind of relationship should they create. They should not only have the present in mind. They should be thinking of the future. What kind of people do they want to be with one another when they get older. J.R. Miller writes,

“Brothers and sisters are each other’s natural keepers. If they fulfilled their duties in this regard, the one to the other, life would show fewer wrecks. They should shield one another. They should be an inspiration to each other in the direction of all noble thought and better life. They should be each other’s guardian angels in this world of danger and of false fatal paths.” The Home Beautiful, P157
