At this luncheon, some of our speakers will share what is "burning in their souls." All men and boys are welcome to attend. We will begin our time together with a delicious lunch before hearing from Scott Brown, Kevin Swanson, Craig Houston, and others.

Scott T. Brown is the President of the National Center for Family-Integrated Churches and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Scott graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a degree in History and received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. He gives his time to expository preaching and local pastoral ministry, as well as conferences on Biblical doctrine and church and family reformation. He and his wife Deborah have four grown children. Scott helps people think through the two greatest evangelistic and discipleship institutions God has provided — the church and the family.
Sam Waldron has been married for 42 years to his dear wife, Charlene. He received a PhD in Systematic Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. His dissertation entitled, Faith, Obedience, and Justification: Recent Evangelical Departures form Sola Fide has also been published. He is now one of the pastors of Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Owensboro, Kentucky. He serves as the Dean and Professor of Systematic Theology at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. Sam enjoys reading, weight-lifting, walking, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren of which he has 12 with number 13 on the way. He is the author of A Modern Exposition of the 1689 Baptist Confession; The End Times Made Simple; with Richard Barcellos A Reformed Baptist Manifesto, and several other books. In 2013 his two most recent books were published: A Man as Priest in His Home and Two Things You Must Do To Be Saved.
By God’s grace Jeff Pollard was converted to Jesus Christ from a career in rock music in the early 1980s. Though religious from his youth, his true conversion at age thirty brought him to understand and then to preach God’s sovereign grace. God’s Spirit and Word awakened him to his responsibilities as husband and father as well as to God’s vision for families. Jeff is now an elder of Mt. Zion Bible Church, Pensacola, Florida. He is the editor of the Free Grace Broadcaster and author of Christian Modesty and the Public Undressing of America and Do You Know Jesus Christ?
Anthony Mathenia was raised in Jackson, TN and attended seminary in Memphis, TN before serving as a full-time missionary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has pastored Christ Church-Radford for five years. Anthony currently lives in Christiansburg, Virginia with his wife, Hannah, and their five children.
Pooyan Mehrshahi is the pastor of Providence Baptist Chapel, Cheltenham, England. He is a native of Iran, and was converted from Zoroastrianism, when he heard the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in England. He is leading the Persian Bible translation project with the Trinitarian Bible Society. As the chairman of the Parsa Trust, he engages in translating, publishing and distributing Evangelical and Reformed literature throughout the world for Persian (Farsi) speakers. He is a trustee of the Bible League Trust, and was a contributor of the KJV Reformation Heritage Study Bible. He is married to Becky, and they are blessed with four children.
Mala Chindongo is pastoring Antioch Baptist Church in Blantyre, Malawi, where he has been laboring since 2008. ABC began as a Bible study with the help of an American missionary and has since developed into the only reformed Baptist church in Blantyre. Mala was married on June 15, 2013 and is now joined with his wife Rachel in Blantyre.
Jason Dohm is a full time pastor at Sovereign Redeemer Community Church in Youngsville, NC (www.sovereignredeemerchurch.com). He graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 with a B.A. in education and proceeded to a lengthy career in electronics manufacturing. Jason has been married to Janet for twenty-three years and has six children
