Several church leaders including Scott Brown, Chris Law, Gary Powers, David Feddes, Michael Johnson, Kirk Smith, and others will be delivering messages.
Scott T. Brown is the President of the National Center for Family-Integrated Churches and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He gives his time to expository preaching and local pastoral ministry, as well as conferences on Biblical doctrine and church and family reformation. He and his wife Deborah have four grown children. Scott helps people think through the two greatest evangelistic and discipleship institutions God has provided — the church and the family.
Kirk Smith is the Executive Director for the Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE). As such, his consistent message is the emphasis on home discipleship (particularly father-led) and the fear of the Lord as the source of wisdom and knowledge. Prior to his present position, he founded and pastored a church in Albion, Illinois for twenty-five years. He and his wife, Joely, live on a small farm outside Bone Gap with their eleven children.
Dr. Michael Johnson helped start Gospel Fellowship Church and has served as a pastor there since 2012. In the midst of a career as a pharmacist, God called Michael to pursue pastoral ministry. Before pastoring at GFC, he served in youth ministry for five years in various roles as a volunteer, intern, and associate pastor. He is passionate about making disciples, shepherding, and preaching and teaching God’s word. Michael earned his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his Doctor of Pharmacy from North Dakota State University. He went full time with GFC in 2017, yet still practices pharmacy part time. Michael and his wife Sarah have been married since 2004 and they have three children.
Gary Powers is an elder at Geneva Lakes Church, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, the CEO of Ortho Molecular Products, Inc., one of the fastest growing dietary supplement companies in America, and a leading proponent of Lifestyle Medicine. Besides founding Ortho Molecular Products in 1989, Mr. Powers has recently started several new businesses with his oldest children. Each of these endeavors is centered in the natural products and organic farming industries. Gary and his wife Patti have been married for 27 years and have 10 children.
Chris Law is Pastor at Geneva Lakes Church in Lake Geneva, WI. He is a graduate of The Master’s College and Southern California Seminary. He has a passion for the local church and equipping them "for the work of ministry" (Eph. 4:12) through the expository teaching of God's Word and building up men to lead in their churches, marriages, and homes. He and his wife Jennifer have six children
